Unmatched laser expertise
LasX is not a typical contract manufacturer who relies on its supplier for guidance and support. Instead, we build our equipment using our proprietary LaserSharp® Processing Modules (LPMs) and our LightGuide® operator software in house, offering you in-depth laser technology knowledge competitors simply cannot provide.
Cost-effective design iteration
By replacing the time- and labor-intensive hard tooling process with digitally configurable lasers, we can help you quickly and inexpensively prototype and iterate on product designs. Plus, our experienced team partners with you throughout the development process to perfect your design before moving to production.
Precision cutting of materials
Laser technology delivers a tool-free, non-contact method for rapidly performing precision cutting of intricate parts not possible with hard tooling. Lasers work with a variety of materials, including traditionally difficult to process materials such as extensible, pressure-sensitive, and abrasive materials.
Long-term partnership
From offering on-demand converting services to delivering full-service white label manufacturing where we take on the responsibility of running your production needs long-term, we offer multiple options to confidently partner with LasX.
FAQs
-
You can get started by either downloading and completing our request for quote (RFQ) form, sending over your drawings to sales@lasx.com, or simply scheduling a phone call with one of experts to discuss your idea.
-
Something that makes LasX unique is the variety of laser technologies we have available. Our standard LPMs powered by CO2 lasers can be supplied in wavelengths of 9.4µm, 10.2µm, and 10.6µm up to 2.5 kW of laser power. With this amount of power, our LPMs can process materials at speeds up to 5x faster than competitors’ laser technology. We also have LPMs powered by fiber lasers, ultraviolet (UV) lasers, and femtosecond lasers to process metallic and exotic materials in the highest precision possible. Our LPM technology precisely controls the output power of our lasers, which gives us the flexibility to cut many different materials at a precise depth of cut.
-
Because we use a tool-free, digitally reconfigurable laser cutting process instead of hard tooling, our equipment solutions and laser technology cost-effectively enable the production of just one part. We seamlessly scale with you depending on your business needs.
-
Yes! If you have been utilizing our contract manufacturing services but your production needs and team are scaling to the point where you feel it is best to invest in an in-house equipment solution, our laser experts will partner with you to help develop the best equipment solution for you.
